Bluegrass Opera
The Bluegrass Opera is proud to present the second annual performance of Thy Will Be Done, the Easter cantata by Angela Rice. Featuring Metropolitan Opera tenor Gregory Turay, Met Auditions Winner Anthony Clark Evans, and some fifty of the area's finest singers and instrumentalists. The cantata's text is drawn primarily from scripture, with additional text by the composer. This year's performance will also feature new orchestrations by Joseph Baber, composer-in-residence at the University of Kentucky and the creator of five operas. Join us for what is sure to be a beautiful and moving performance!
