Community Cares salutes the American Stroke Association Power to End Stroke Task Force

Partnering every month with a non-profit organization known for making a positive impact in our area, the WEAA Community Cares campaign has recently chosen the American Stroke Association's Power to End Stroke Task Force.
Today, more than 700,000 Americans suffer from stroke. However, African Americans are at a greater risk for the disease than any other race. In an interview with WEAA Director of News and Public Affairs, Kortni Alston, stroke survivor Gina Roberts shares her story of recovery and the value of PTES Task Force.
