Director Roberta Koch has assembled a program of excerpts of the essays and columns of Jerry Klein, a local native, Bradley University graduate and arts critic / columnist for the Peoria Journal Star for 55 years.
His observations focus on the simple joys of nature, living the weather in central Illinois, that changing of the seasons and the beauty of this area.
This will be the first event of its kind presented in the Peoria Riverfront Museum's Giant Screen Theatre.
Klein's work will be voiced in Reader's Theatre style by area performers including Bonnie White, Lee Wenger, Jim Wilhelm, Paul Gordon and Cheri Beever, and illustrated with the beautiful photography of Dr. Joe Couri.
Please join us Sunday, February 9th at 2pm. Admission is $15. Tickets available at the door or by calling the Peoria Historical Society at (309) 674-1921.
