Clinton and Biden to speak tonight at DNC
(2008-08-27)
(WCBE) - It's Bill Clinton's turn to take the stage at the Democratic National Convention. Tonight's theme focuses on national security, but Clinton's speech is expected to be more wide-ranging. We's expected to launch attacks on Republican presidential candidate John McCain and the Bush administration, especially over the current state of the economy as compared to 2001. Joe Biden also speaks tonight. Last night, Ohio governor Ted Strickland talked forclosures and possible job losses in Wilmington in his convention speech. Kevin Niedermier of member station WKSU in Kent reports.
