Does winter in central Ohio have you longing for the feel of warm sand between your toes? Then join us at Clayspace Feb. 23 for a workshop with local artist Kevin Russell as he shares his tops and techniques for bringing the wonders of the ocean to life with clay. Clayspace will be hosting a one day, two-part workshop for you to explore and create in new dimensions of ceramic art. Kevin will demonstrate how to build shells, starfish, sea biscuits, and other sea life forms. Prior wheel experience will be required for the morning session. Part 1: 9:00 - noon Part 2: 1:00 - 4:00 Full day workshop $125, afternoon only $75. Includes instruction, materials, and pit firing. |
