Avalon Nine

Avalon Nine serves up an eclectic mix of vintage rock and roots, and they cover a lot of musical ground. Their music is flavored with the sounds of San Francisco's Avalon Ballroom, '60s, 70s and 80s rock, and contemporary Americana. The result is a fresh, but familiar, sound and their original material pays homage to American folk, rock and pop traditions.

Avalon Nine revels in unearthing gems by master singer songwriters and creating new arrangements, sometimes with an unexpected twist. Signature arrangements bring together David Bowie and the Who, or Pink Floyd and Neil Young, followed up with a traditional acoustic instrumental or a Dylan tune. www.avalonnine.com
