UB Education Week Features Expert on Afghanistan UB is partnering with the United States Departments of State and Education this week to foster greater awareness of global issues. Events are scheduled throughout the week as part of International Education Week. The keynote address will be delivered Wednesday night by Georgetown University professor Paula Newburg. She heads Georgetown's Institute for Diplomacy and is a special advisor to the United Nations on Afghanistan. The topic of her lecture is, "What Next for Afghanistan."
