Theatre Talk: Friday, September 11, 2009 BUFFALO, NY (WBFO) - It's time for this year's Curtain Up!, celebrating a new theater season tonight. Two shows already underway include Twilight, by Anna Deavere Smith, presented by the Subversive Theatre Collective, at the Manny Fried Playhouse on Great Arrow Avenue. Jim remembers his piano lessons while talking about Randall Kramer (Jiminy Cricket??) and Jeffrey Rockwell performing in Two Piano Four Hands at MusicalFare Theatre. We also hear about the dozen or so other openings to start the 2009-2010 theater season in Buffalo.
