Wednesday Night Concert with the Steve Woolsey Band BUFFALO, NY (WBFO) - Steve Woolsey is a guitarist and singer-songwriter who grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Old-time church gospel, 60s and 70s folk songwriters, Delta and Chicago blues all play an important role in the continued growth and maturity of this artist. Touring much of New York State over the past nine years, he spent the summer of 2007 under the tutelage of Chicago blues legend Sammy Fender (former guitarist of the late great A.C. Reed). Steve Woolsey's single "Genesee" is included on the WBFO Gives Me the Blues Vol. 6 release.
