For years the rubber rat was used to protest against non-union contractors and companies at picket lines and strikes. It was suppose to let the public know the company was not supporting the unions. But Tuesday the rat was deflated and cut up with a pair of scissors. Michael McNally is the business manager of the plumbers union. He says the Building Trade is doing business in a new way.
