A 14 year old girl who was shot in the back was pronounced dead on arrival at Erie County Medical Center.

A 13 year old boy was admitted to Women and Children's Hospital in fair condition with wounds to his arm and back.

Buffalo Police spokesman Mike DeGeorge says police don't know if the group was specifically targeted by the assailants.

"It has just been described to me that they opened fire on the crowd. Now whether someone was targeted, I think it is too early to know that right now," said DeGeorge.
