Preservation Conference boosts city's image
(2011-10-23)
(WBFO) - The National Preservation Conference in Buffalo wraps up this weekend, and the event could not have worked out better for the city.

Architecture and history experts converged on Buffalo for a week, exploring the many treasures that have become the focus of rehabilitation, preservation and re-use in the city. The conference drew the largest attendance it has seen in a decade, and Dottie Gallagher-Cohen, President of Visit Buffalo-Niagara, is thrilled with the exposure that the city received.

More than twenty-five hundred visitors toured the city as part of the week-long conference. The general consensus has been that Buffalo is incredibly rich in historical treasures and its people have been warm and welcoming to the visitors from around the world. © Copyright 2012, WBFO
