Nice but Cooler for the 4th of July
(2009-07-03)
(WBFO) - If you were planning an outdoor picnic and fireworks display Saturday's 4th of July holiday, the National Weather Service is promising better weather.

Metrologist Dave Sage, at the Buffalo weather office, tells WBFO News the rain should end and bring in clearer weather for Saturday.

"Saturday finally looks pretty good. Our timing was good for the holiday. It should be a very low change of any rain and a pretty good deal of sunshine as well," said Sage.

But Sage says it will be nicer, but cooler.

"Temperatures will be pretty cool for the 4th of July, only in the lower 70's. It will be cooler, be should be a pretty nice day, especially for what we've gone through the last week or so with all the rain," noted sage.
