Jane Pauley campaigns for Barack Obama in IN WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - A former T.V. news anchor is on the presidential campaign through Indiana.

Jane Pauley is supporting Democrat Barack Obama. She held a panel discussion focusing on several issues in West Lafayette.

Pauley calls this a wake up election. She cites China's growing power as displayed during the Olympics; Russia's military action in Georgia; and the financial crisis on Wall Street.

Pauley thinks Obama is the candidate to put America back on the right track and will be a steady force in the White House.

She is encouraging people to register to vote, learn the issues without pundits filtering the information, and become active in the campaigns.
