Tippecanoe County area candidates participate in forum WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Tippecanoe County voters have a better idea of the views of area candidates running for state office.

The topics of a forum in West Lafayette ranged from possible flaws in the recent property tax reform to green energy.

Tim Brown is the incumbent Republican in House District 41.

Although he and Democratic opponent James Stytle have differing opinions on a number of issues, they do agree on investing in energy.

Stytle says education also plays a role in being energy efficient.

Office seekers from House Districts 26, 27 and 41 as well as Senate District seven answered questions from the audience.
