Purdue President joins higher ed cabinet

Purdue President France Cordova has been selected to serve on The Chronicle of Higher Education/New York Times Higher Education Cabinet. The group is composed of nearly 60 collegiate chancellors and presidents from across the country.
It was created by the two publications as an avenue for identifying key issues and trends in higher education.
C rdova will attend the first meeting of the cabinet Monday at the New York Times' headquarters in New York City.
The gathering will include discussion sessions between Chronicle and Times reporters and cabinet members.
Four online follow-up meetings will be held by May.
Other universities represented on the cabinet include Syracuse, Penn State, and the University of California system.
