Tippecanoe County School Corporation has finalized budget LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - The Tippecanoe County School Corporation has adopted its budget for 2009.

All together its about $125 million, which includes the general and capital projects funds.

The chief financial officer for the corporation is Kim Fox. She says the state will pay for the $76 million general fund.

Fox says she added protections into that fund to make sure the school's bases were covered.

She says the board has the option to go back and change parts of the budget because of the extended deadline, but right now she does not think that will be necessary. © Copyright 2009, wbaa
