Lafayette woman sentenced for letting son drive LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - A Tippecanoe County judge has sentenced a Lafayette woman to prison for allowing her five-year-old son to drive while she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Holly Schnobrich received an 18-month prison term.

Police say she was under the influence of Percocet and alcohol when residents in the Saddlebrook subdivision off State Road 26 found her son in the driver's seat of a vehicle.

Schnobrich was in the passenger's seat.

The boy and his younger brother are now in the custody of their paternal grandfather.
