(2008-08-29)
LAFAYETTE, IN
(wbaa) -
A Tippecanoe County judge has sentenced a man who pleaded guilty to abusing his daughter to ten-years in prison. Kenneth Roark of Lafayette also must serve four-years of supervised probation following his release from community corrections.
He entered a guilty plea earlier this month to Neglect of a Dependent Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
Doctors say his infant daughter had burns on her hand and arm, a fractured skull, and bleeding in her brain.
Judge Don Daniel also ordered Roark to pay the cost of fees and services for his three children, who were processed through Tippecanoe County Family Court. © Copyright 2009, wbaa
