Indiana delegates hear from Bayh on campaign DENVER, CO (wbaa) - A delegate to the Democratic National Convention from the Lafayette area thinks Michelle Obama's speech accomplished a great deal.

David Sanders is a former Congressional candidate in the 4th District.

He says Obama told her family's story, and believes the message to independent voters is the Democrats will fight for American families.

Senator Hillary Clinton will address delegates Tuesday night. Sanders hopes those who supported Clinton during the primaries will realize she and Obama have the same goals.
