Tipmont REMC has new manager LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Tipmont REMC has chosen a new manager.

The board of directors has selected Tim McCarthy to take over when current general manager Ken Ritchey retires next August.

McCarthy has been with the member-owned electric cooperative since 2007. He is the customer service manager.

When McCarthy takes over, the position will be changed to chief executive officer.

Board members decided that title will better reflect the duties of the job and be more in line with the organizational structures of other cooperatives in the country. © Copyright 2009, wbaa
