Purdue students help flood victims
(2008-08-20)
WEST LAFAYETTE, IN
(wbaa) -
Purdue students are volunteering to help flood victims. About 300 of the university's resident assistants will travel to Carroll County Tuesday.
Dave McDowell is the director of the county's Emergency Management.
He says students will also be on hand to notify homeowners about assistance programs that are available.
McDowell says the outside aid will remind other Indiana residents about problems flood victims are still dealing with. © Copyright 2009, wbaa
