WEST LAFAYETTE, IN
(wbaa) -
More than one-thousand new international undergraduate students are expected to take part in an orientation program on the Purdue campus this week. The program is designed to help students make the transition to life at Purdue and in the United States.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with university officials, go on campus tours, and participate in a variety of recreational activities.
A mandatory session is scheduled for Thursday to address issues such as health insurance, academic regulations, and maintaining legal status in the United States.
For the past eight years, Purdue has ranked first or second among public U.S. colleges and universities in international student enrollment. © Copyright 2009, wbaa
