LSC may add nurse practitioner at some schools LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Lafayette school officials will consider a measure next month allowing for a nurse practitioner in Miller and Murdock Elementary schools.

It would be a joint effort between the corporation and the Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic. Eighty-eight other schools in Indiana have similar programs.

Analei Borg is with the clinic and says there is a lot of support for this effort.

She says Superintendent Ed Eiler also is in favor of the measure.

The board will likely take up the proposal at next month's meeting.

If approved, a pilot program would begin in both schools for the fall. © Copyright 2012, wbaa
