Indianapolis Zoo expecting unique birth INDIANAPOLIS, IN (wbaa) - An uncommon birth is planned for later this year at the Indianapolis Zoo.

Officials say Gloria the white rhinoceros is expecting a baby.

She and the father, Spike, are part of the Association of Zoos species survival plan.

Experts say there have not been many white rhino births at a zoo.

The Indy Zoo staff also is getting ready for several new giraffes.
