Trinity Nursing Center closing Sept. 30 LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - A child health care clinic in Lafayette is shutting down at the end of September.

The Trinity Nursing Center has served more than 700 patients over the past three years, but increasing costs are forcing it to close.

Interim Head of Purdue School of Nursing Jane Kirkpatrick says besides helping patients, students learned valuable skills.

She says even the closing is a lesson on the function of healthcare systems for doctoral students.

Trinity's patients will be shifted to either the Riggs Community Center or the North Central Nursing Clinics in Delphi and Monon.
