Purdue football faces Illinois this weekend WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Purdue football hopes for two in a row when Illinois comes to Ross-Ade Stadium Saturday.

The Boilermakers upset top ten ranked Ohio State last weekend to improve their Big Ten record to 1-2. The defense stepped up last week holding the Buckeyes under 20 points.

Head Coach Danny Hope says the defense needs to keep doing what it's doing to stop the Ilini's offense.
