Purdue Football upsets Ohio State
(2009-10-17)
(wbaa) - Purdue football upset seventh ranked Ohio State 26-18.

The Boilermakers ended a five-game losing streak and ended a six year long drought against ranked opponents.

The team is now 1-2 in Big ten play.

The Boilers stopped the Buckeyes with two minutes remaining to take control of the game.

Head Coach Danny Hope says the squad just needs to keep its mistakes at a minimum to win games.

The team was led by several different players including- wide receivers Keith Smith and Aaron Valentin.

Purdue will try to continue its winning ways when Illinois comes to Ross-Ade Stadium next Saturday.
