Purdue Football loses to Northwestern WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Purdue football has lost its fourth straight game this season.

The Boilermakers lost to Northwestern 27-21 Saturday.

The Boilers had a season high six turnovers including five fumbles.

Five of the six turnovers led to 24 Wildcat points.

Head Coach Danny Hope says the squad needs both sides of the ball have to show up ready to play.

Senior quarterback Joey Elliot led the team with three touchdowns and over 300 yards passing.

Purdue heads to Minnesota to take on the Gophers next weekend.
