Purdue Soccer defeats Ball State WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Purdue Soccer defeated Ball State six-to-one Monday to win the Boilermaker Challenge Cup.

The Boilers record improves to a perfect 5-0 with the win.

They jumped out quickly scoring three goals in the first 24 minutes.

Head Coach Robert Klatte says even though the team won they still need to get better.

Senior Jessica Okoroafo won the offensive tournament MVP while teammate Liz Secue won the defensive.

Purdue travels to the west coast to play both Stanford and Santa Clara this week.
