Purdue Great American Legends WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Purdue Men's and Women's Cross Country had runners place in second Friday.

The Boilermaker women were able to claim seven of the top ten spots in the individual race.

Butler claimed both races.

Head Coach Jack Warner says the team must continue to condition since they have only been practicing for two weeks.

The Boilers had three men finish in the top ten.

Purdue will head south to Indiana for its next competition.
