TSC students, teacher injured in lab fire

Tippecanoe School Corporation officials say they don't know yet what caused a fire during a science experiment Wednesday at Wainwright Middle School.Two students and a teacher were injured in the incident.
TSC Superintendent Scott Hanback says staff will meet again today to try to determine what caused a flash fire during an experiment in an 8th grade science class.
He says the school was placed on lockdown following the incident to allow emergency personnel to attend to the injured students and teacher.
A 14-year-old boy was airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He remains hospitalized.
A 15-year-old boy was treated and released from Clarian Arnett Hospital yesterday.
The teacher was treated at the scene.
Their names have not been released.
