Chromcraft Revington posts 3Q loss WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Chromcraft Revington is reporting a net loss for the third quarter but not as much as a year ago.

The West Lafayette-based furniture manufacturer's nearly $980,000 loss is 90% less than it was in the third quarter of 2008.

The company reports increased sales from the second quarter of this year, but still lower than 12 months ago.

Chairman and C.E.O. Ron Butler says weak consumer confidence and housing activity, and the effects of the economic recession continue to depress demand for furniture.

But he believes Chromcraft Revington is well positioned to return to profitability when the furniture market improves.
