Vectren Bills WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - The warmer-than-normal winter is dropping the price of natural gas.

The decline in demand has prompted Vectren to pass its savings onto customers.

The utility reports the 15-percent decline in gas prices will mean a savings of about 28-dollars for most households.

Company CEO Niel Ellerbrook says while the weather is mild now, a cold-spell could cause prices to increase before winter is over. © Copyright 2012, wbaa
