Hoosiers urged to fight terrorism
(2011-09-09)
(wbaa) - Hoosiers are becoming more active in the fight against terrorism.

The anniversary of the September 11th attacks has brought new threats in Washington D.C. and New York City.

Law enforcement officials are counting on help from people across the nation, including Indiana.

State Department of Homeland Security Director Joe Wainscott says tips from Hoosiers are important.

He says tips that seem meaningless at first can prove to be significant.

Wainscott thinks security will be at its highest when the Super Bowl is played in Indianapolis, but he hopes enforcement officials will put their experience to use in the coming days.
