LSC still waiting on word from the state about Miller Elementary LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - The Lafayette School Corporation still has no plan for a possible Miller Elementary restructuring.

Superintendent Ed Eiler met with the state's top education official last month to discuss possible options, but decisions are not being made as quickly as he hoped.

He says the corporation can opt to begin the restructure process this year, but may be required to if students do not achieve a certain standard.

Eiler says Lafayette is not the only district who may need to take action.

He says he did receive some information about a restructuring option Monday, but could not elaborate. © Copyright 2012, wbaa
