Boudia finishes 6th in 10 meter platform ROME, ITALY (wbaa) - Purdue diver David Boudia finished in the middle of the pack at the World Championships for the ten meter platform.

He placed 6th during the finals in Rome. The sophomore from Noblesville made it has high as 5th place during his six dives.

Great Britian's Thomas Daley won the event, while China's Bo Qiu and Luxin Zhou finished second and third, respectively.

Boudia will compete Friday in the synchronized platform event with partner Thomas Finchum. The two Hoosiers finished 5th at the Olympics last year.
