WL police seek hit and run driver WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - West Lafayette Police are looking for the driver of a truck who hit a jogger on Happy Hollow Road.

Officers found 86 year old Arne Kvaalen around 4:30 Friday morning lying along the side of the road.

Detectives say he was struck from behind by a vehicle and he suffered extensive injuries as a result, including a broken ankle, broken shoulder, and numerous lacerations.

A witness reported seeing a small pickup truck pulled over near the time of the crash. The description is not certain but, the vehicle could possibly have been a dark colored Ford Ranger.

Leaving the scene of a personal injury crash is a felony crime in the State of Indiana.
