Gubernatorial candidates face off in debate MERRILLVILLE, IN (wbaa) - If questions asked by the public at Wednesday night's gubernatorial debate in Merrillville are an indicator, it seems clear that Indiana voters are worried about the economy.

It was the central focus of many of the questions for the three candidates in this first of three gubernatorial debates.
