Lafayette man pleads guilty for neglect

A Lafayette man accused of abusing his infant daughter in February is pleading guilty to the crime. Kenneth Roark pleaded to Neglect of a Dependent, which is a Class B Felony that could result in up to ten years in prison.
Roark admitted to burning the arm of his 22-month old daughter, who was sent to Riley Hospital.
He says he was not taking his medication for Bipolar Disorder at the time of the incident.
