WEST LAFAYETTE, IN
(wbaa) -
State government in Indiana needs to be more energy efficient. That is what at least one Lafayette area candidate believes.
Democrat John Polles outlined his suggestions for turning Indiana greener, which includes encouraging citizens to make their homes and businesses environmentally friendly.
Polles says the state's fleet of vehicles should change over to flex fuel or hybrid cars.
He also thinks high efficiency standards should be used when constructing new government buildings.
