WL resource group looks to improve water quality

The Wabash River Enhancement Corporation is among the many organizations statewide that are focusing on improving water quality. Grants worth nearly $3 million are being given out by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
Much of this money will be distributed to watershed groups and resource councils for local projects.
The $450,000 grant for the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation will be used to fund work by Purdue researchers to remove pollutants in the river. © Copyright 2012, wbaa
