United Way receives fundraising grant TIPPECANOE COUNTY, IN (wbaa) - People who donate to the United Way of Greater Lafayette could see that money multiply.

The organization has received a grant through the Indiana Association of United Ways and the Lilly Endowment that will provide about $480,000 in matching funds.

Kate Walker is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the local United Way. She says the match goes into effect this year.

Donations to the Lafayette United Way go to fund programs, such as The Arc and Food Fingers Food Bank.

The group's fundraising effort for this year begins next month.
