Ivy Tech sets enrollment record INDIANAPOLIS, IN (wbaa) - Ivy Tech enrollment is up nearly 8.5% this summer compared to a year ago.

The college has nearly 33,000 students registered for classes- over 11,000 are full-time. Both are summer records.

President Thomas Snyder says people are attracted by Ivy Tech's relatively low costs.

He says associate degrees can be earned from the school for less than $6,000, and those seeking a bachelor's degree can transfer to four-year universities.

The school has 23 campuses statewide- including one in Lafayette.
