Government helps Bridgeway Apartment owners LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has hired a firm to help residents of a Lafayette apartment complex find new homes.

HUD pulled its Section-Eight housing vouchers from the Bridgeway Apartments earlier this month.

But residents who receive the financial help can use the vouchers at other Section-Eight eligible units in the Lafayette area.

An informational meeting for those affected is set for early next week.

It will include Lafayette Housing Authority representatives, who will screen the residents for their future housing needs
