Eli Lilly to Make More Job Cuts INDIANAPOLIS, IN (wbaa) - There will be more job cuts at Indianapolis-based drug-maker Eli Lilly.

The company operates Tippecanoe Labs just outside Lafayette.

Lilly has already reduced its workforce by five-thousand over the past three years.

Spokesperson Phil Belt says that trend will continue, although he declined to give a specific number of job cuts.

Despite the anticipated reductions, the company is upbeat about drugs in its pipeline.

It expects to launch six new products within five years.
