Early and Absentee Voting Up in County LAFAYETTE, IN (wbaa) - Early and absentee voting is high for Tippecanoe County.

As of 5:00 Monday afternoon, about 4300 ballots were already cast.

Election and Registration Board Co-Director Debbie Ingersoll says that's a little more than 20% of all the votes cast during the last municipal general election in 2003.

The county is using the Vote Center system for the first time Tuesday.

That allows voters to cast a ballot at any of 22 locations, no matter where you live.
