Purdue Hands Over Bubble Fusion Papers to Congress WASHINGTON, DC (wbaa) - Congressional staff members are reviewing copies of an internal investigation at Purdue.

A subcommittee of the House panel on Science and Technology wanted more information on misconduct allegations against Professor Rusi Taleyarkin.

Purdue handed over the documents this Thursday.

A spokesperson for the subcommittee does not know if the findings will be made public.

Taleyarkhan claims to have achieved nuclear fusion by blasting sound waves into bubbles.

But other researchers question that, because they cannot reproduce his work.

Purdue's internal probed cleared Taleyarkhan.
