New York to Implement Stringent Emissions Rules, Business Group Concerned

(WAMC) - New York State has approved new air pollution rules that will require power companies within the state to install state-of-the-art pollution controls when their plants are upgraded. State officials say the rules will improve air quality, but the Business Council of New York says the regulations will be detrimental to the state's economic competitiveness.
