Private First Class John Gallup from Saratoga Springs sprints to the finish line alongside 1st Lt. Jared Jensen from Ballston Spa carrying the unit guidon for Company C, 2nd Squadron 101st Cavalry for the security force unit serving as part of Combined Joint Task Force Phoenix.

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN (WAMC) - Serving in the military is a family tradition for Jared Jensen of Ballston Spa in Saratoga County. Jensen is a Lieutenant in the New York National Guard.
